Hi all! After a much needed summer break, I hope to start blogging more frequently now that I’ve actually started school and will have more content for this blog. 🙂

Last weekend was my white coat ceremony and it was one of the best weekends of my life. My family and closest friends came into town and I was surrounded by so much love as I entered this new chapter in my life.

IMG_3593Coming off of the high of my white coat ceremony weekend, I started school on Monday and it has been such a whirlwind. The material is definitely interesting, but there is so much of it! I think I’ve figured out a good study technique; so I’ve been spending the majority of my spare time in the library, putting that technique to good use {I’ll keep you posted on how well this works for me}.

I’ve also been meeting so many people. I’m so fortunate that my class is incredibly diverse, and that everyone is wildly intelligent and so nice. It’s been amazing to hear everyones different life stories. It makes me realize that my school truly employs a holistic review and chooses well-rounded students.

I know this was only my first week, but I already feel so comfortable at my school. I’m definitely nervous for the course load {it’s seriously so much information} and my time-management skills, but I’m hoping my nerves go away with time. As I start this next week of classes, I am going to do my best to keep my head above water and maintain a positive attitude.
